 Introduction Of GY Rigid Flange Coupling

    The GY flange coupling is simple in structure, easy to manufacture, low in cost, reliable in operation, easy to assemble and disassemble and maintain, and has great torque transmission. It can ensure two axes have high alignment accuracy, and is usually used for shafting transmission with stable load and high transmission accuracy. The GY flange coupling does not possess the performance of radial, axial and angular compensation. If it is not used to ensure the accuracy of the two axis alignment, it will reduce the service life, drive accuracy and transmission efficiency of the coupling, and cause vibration and noise.

    The GY flange coupling is a bolted two flange (flange) disk half coupling. The 2.5 coupling is connected with two axes by two keys respectively, so as to achieve two axis connection, transmit torque and motion. The material of the flange coupling can be made of grey cast iron or carbon steel. Cast steel or forged steel is used when heavy load or circle speed is greater than 30 m / sec. The GY flange coupling has a very high demand for two axis neutral. When two axes have relative displacement, it will cause additional load in the machine parts and make the work worse. This is the main drawback. Therefore, when the speed is low, no impact, the rigidity of the shaft is large, and it is often used under the condition of good neutrality.
